Maeve BinchyOne of my favourite books of 2004 was Monday Mourning by Kathy Reichs. I always love her heroine Temperance Brennan, but Temperance has never been as good and dogged as here, when she faces the skeletons of three young women. All right, so everyone says these are ancient skeletons, definitely 19th century. But our Tempe is not so sure. As usual, she risks everything in her search for truth.
