Johnathan trial aborted

Toronto — The Johnathan murder trial came to a sudden and shocking end last night when, on the heels of a revelation that a key witness "may have given misleading evidence," the judge declared a mistrial. The jurors were in their second day of deliberating their verdicts for the three young men charged in the Nov. 25, 2003, slaying of the 12-year-old boy when Mr. Justice David Watt called them back into the courtroom and quietly sent them home.
