Citigroup settles with Munk

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. has settled a multi-million-dollar defamation case launched by Trizec Properties Inc. chairman Peter Munk, Trizec said Tuesday.
The lawsuit was commenced after statements in a conference call and a subsequent research note in the summer of 2002 by Citigroup's real estate analyst, Jonathan Litt, on the share structure and governance of Trizec Properties Inc.
