Ottawa kicks in $800M more for transit
John Godfrey, federal Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, announced Wednesday an additional $800-million, over two years, for public transit at the Canadian Urban Transit Association's annual conference.
This money is separate from the $5-billion over five years gas tax agreement announced in February.
