Cognos makes list of fastest-growing firms
U.S.-based Business 2.0 magazine's annual list of the 100 fastest-growing technology companies included only one Canadian firm this year: software developer Cognos Inc. of Ottawa.
Researchers whittled down the list from 2,000 publicly traded tech concerns with at least $50-million (U.S.) in sales.
Cognos placed 59th in the ranking, with three-year annualized sales and profit growth of 17 per cent and 51 per cent, respectively.
