Duceppe likely to stay in federal politics

Bloc Québécois leader Gilles Duceppe is expected to announce Monday that he will stay on in federal politics rather than run for the leadership of the Parti Québécois. Mr. Duceppe is slated to make the announcement in Ottawa on Monday morning. Earlier the Bloc leader had indicated he was considering taking a run at the PQ leadership following former leader Bernard Landry's surprise decision last weekend to vacate the position.
