Connection problem with on-line contact program

Globe and Mail Update

QUESTION: I use an Internet-based contact management software called Insure Socket, my browser is IE.6, my ISP is Sympatico from whom I have unlimited Internet access at 2.88 megabits per second and a noise level on my phone line of 40, and my Operation System is Professional XP. Here's my problem: after two or three clicks on my contacts I get a blank page, have to log off, delete my off-line content & history & log on again. Way too time consuming, not to mention maddening. This began to happen after I moved my relatively new Dell computer from the office to my home. Can you help?

Thanks,

Judy

ANSWER: Does the problem go away if you move the computer back to the office? Do both the office and home connect to the Internet the same way?

If so then it would have to be the line and Bell should come out to check it.
