Home is where the PhD is, according to a new Statistics Canada report Tuesday that said the bulk of Canadian doctoral graduates plan to stay in this country after they finish school.
As well, more than half finished their education without accruing any debt directly related to their doctoral programs. Those with firm job plans most often cited research and development and teaching as their intended fields.
