Fund managers down on U.S.

Most fund managers believe the outlook for corporate profit is least favourable in the United States, according to Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc.'s August global fund manager survey. Only 11 per cent of the 288 fund managers surveyed around the world — who between them oversee almost $1-trillion (U.S.) — think the corporate profit outlook is most favourable in the U.S., down from 16 per cent in July.
