Gomery report delayed until Feb. 1
The release of the final report into the sponsorship scandal has officially been pushed back to Feb. 1 from Dec. 15, the Gomery commission announced Monday.
This is likely to delay a federal election until next spring in accordance with Prime Minister Paul Martin's promise to call one within 30 days of the release of the report.
