Liberals unleash torrent of pre-election promises
Ottawa — The federal Liberals will promise to dole out more than $10-billion this week for labour-market training, victims of residential school abuse, the softwood lumber industry and impoverished aboriginals as the government ticks off its last days before an election call.
Ottawa also announced nearly $5-billion for new military transport planes yesterday.
