Voters still paying close attention to race despite holiday season
Ottawa At some point between shopping and baking and office Christmas parties, Canadians are taking time to tune in to messages being delivered by the various players in the federal election campaign.
Common wisdom suggests that people are too busy at this time of year to pay more than scant attention to political platforms, and that it wouldn't be until the final weeks before the Jan. 23 vote that the country truly became engaged.
