YES: Canada can woo back Quebeckers

The children of Bill 101 -- more than 200 of them -- are in my classroom this fall at Université Laval, taking an introductory course in Canadian and Quebec politics. They are citizens of the world, consider Quebec a distinct national community and approach the Canadian dimension of their political lives with curiosity and caution. Most are sovereigntists; many supported André Boisclair in the recent Parti Québécois leadership race.
