In Alberta, driving past cruiser cost woman $632

CALGARY — At first, Valerie Montgomery thought she was getting a $632 ticket for driving too slow.She was, after all, driving home to Calgary from the mountains along the Trans-Canada Highway at 106 kilometres an hour even though the posted speed limit is 110 km/h. "I went with the flow. Within seconds, he was behind me with his lights flashing. I was wondering what I did," said Ms. Montgomery, a 52-year-old stay-at-home mother.
