Canadian 'recovering' after Syrian incarceration

Two days before Christmas, Arwad al-Boushi slipped back into Canada and tasted real freedom for the first time since being released after spending 3½ years in a Syrian prison . "It's like somebody recovering from a big, horrible thing," Mr. al-Boushi said from Toronto, where he is staying with family members. "I'm good in general, but I have to do some recovery for my spirits.
