Old wallpaper reappears after rebooting

Globe and Mail Update

QUESTION: I downloaded a picture from the internet and used it as wallpaper for some time than I deleted it, and I used another picture as wallpaper now when I turn the computer off or on the old wallpaper appears for an instance. I just can't find the old wallpaper image to delete it. Is there a way to remove the old wallpaper permanently? Thanks,

Fernando

ANSWER: If you turn off active desktop you should see the old wallpaper behind. Then you can remove that wallpaper. When you turn active desktop back on your new wallpaper should reappear. Active desktop is controlled in the display properties (right click on a blank spot on the desktop and click properties).
