Green Leader confident party will win first seat

Vancouver — Green Leader Jim Harris says the party still has a chance to win its first seat in Parliament on Monday, despite polls suggesting its support has stalled near the levels it drew in the 2004 election. The Greens are banking on vote splits in a handful of closely fought ridings to provide an opening for their candidates.
