Layton vows to remain available to the press

Thunder Bay — Stephen Harper's decision not to take questions from reporters in the final weekend of the campaign is a sign the Conservative party can't be trusted, NDP leader Jack Layton said today. "It certainly seems odd and surprising when we're in the middle of a democratic process and people are making up their final decisions," Mr. Layton told reporters in Vancouver. "I'll tell you one thing.
