Bush congratulates Harper
U.S. President George W. Bush called prime minister-designate Stephen Harper on Wednesday, offering his personal congratulations on this week's election victory.
White House spokesman Scott McClellan told reporters that the two shared a lengthy and cordial chat during the early-morning telephone call, but he would not comment on the specifics of their conversation.
