Canadian director wins Sundance honour
Park City, Utah — Vancouver director Julia Kwan has won a Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival for her debut feature film, Eve & The Fire Horse.
The festival's World Cinema Dramatic Jury presented her with the award at a closing ceremony here Saturday night.
Eve & The Fire Horse was the only full-length feature film from Canada selected for the competition this year.
