Head of space agency urged to step down

QUEBEC — The president of the Canadian Space Agency, Virendra Jha, is being urged to step down during a police investigation into alleged misappropriation of public funds involving a suspicious multi-million-dollar development contract. The $7.3-million contract was awarded by the agency in June, 2000, to the Montreal-based company Tecsult Eduplus Inc.
