Turin Team Canada is the latest gold-medal favourite to fall to the surprising Swiss, who rode a hot goalie and a modest NHL grinder from a decade ago to their second straight shocking Olympic win.
DiPietro, a native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., scored two goals and Martin Gerber posted a 49-save shutout as Switzerland posted a historic 2-0 upset victory over Canada on Saturday at the Winter Games.
