Canadian mainland moving north

The Canadian mainland has moved a little further north this spring, according to an official at Point Pelee National Park. The 800-metre spit of sand jetting from the southern edge of the park into Lake Erie, which is the most southern point on the Canadian mainland, washed away this winter, according Dan Dufour, a spokesman for the park. He said only 60 metres of sand remains.
