Australians celebrate first ever gold in Commonwealth Games

Melbourne, Australia Canada's triathletes had the right strategy, but they didn't have their summer legs, as Australians celebrated their first ever gold medals in Olympic or Commonwealth Games competitions.
In both the women's and men's races at the Commonwealth Games Saturday, early leads by Canadians were eaten up by athletes from the southern hemisphere in midsummer form, who took charge with blistering runs to sweep the medals.
