Higher taxes expected

OTTAWA Federal tax collectors are ready to boost the amount of income tax deducted from paycheques in as little as three months if the new Conservative government goes ahead and repeals breaks introduced by the Liberals.
The Canada Revenue Agency says it is able to change payroll deduction tables in July if the Tories undo the tax breaks in the spring parliamentary sitting that starts April 3.
