Hedy Fry enters Liberal leadership race
Vancouver-centre MP Hedy Fry announced her intention to become the first Westerner to run for the Liberal leadership Thursday, adding her name an ever-increasing list of candidates.
By last count, 11 candidates had entered the race, including such notables as Michael Ignatieff, Ken Dryden, Bob Rae, and Stephane Dion. Dr. Fry would likely be considered a longshot for the leadership, but will count as the lone voice from the West.
