Court nullifies Thailand's April elections

BANGKOK — Thailand's Constitutional Court on Monday annulled the country's widely criticized parliamentary election and ordered fresh polls. The 14 judges voted 8-6 to invalidate the polls based on a lawsuit alleging that the elections were unconstitutional, said court spokesman Paithoon Warahapaithoon.
