Bevilacqua, Kennedy given passing grade after all
Ottawa — Liberal leadership candidates Maurizio Bevilacqua and Gerard Kennedy speak French well enough to qualify for a bilingualism certificate, according to a university expert.Interviews with both men in French, evaluated by University of Ottawa expert Hélène Knoerr, were rated at a level high enough to pass the test for a certificate, Dr. Knoerr said yesterday.
