Horcoff takes centre stage in Oilers-Sharks series
EDMONTON There was a time not so long ago when even Edmonton hockey fans looked at Shawn Horcoff and scoffed, "This is our No. 1 centreman?"
To which the Oilers and their management would reply: "Yes, and you're going to love him. The kid is as tough as reinforced concrete, can win faceoffs, kill penalties."
"That's all well and good," the fans snorted.
