Fall vote on same-sex issue, Harper says

Prime Minister Stephen Harper said Friday his government plans to hold a vote on the same-sex marriage issue in the fall. Speaking with reporters in Montreal, Mr. Harper confirmed that the vote would be held after the summer recess. He did not give a specific date or offer any further indication of how the motion being put to vote would look.
