Sun Media cuts 120 jobs
Quebecor Inc. is eliminating 120 editorial jobs at Sun Media in an effort to reduce costs across its newspaper chain.
The company told employees Tuesday that the cuts would impact full-time and part-time employees, as well as freelance positions and management jobs.
Of the 120 positions being eliminated, 17 are vacancies. The move will save about $4.6-million a year, the company said.
