  1. James Macallister from Toronto, Canada writes: What, no Monkees? 1910 Fruitgum Company? Andy Kim? But let's get serious. What made the era's music memorable was the variety... something we just don't see today (am I sounding old again?). Each band had a unique sound. So here's my list, for what it's worth: For What it's Worth- Buffalo Springfield Get Together- Youngbloods Purple Haze- Jimi hendrix White Rabbit- Jefferson Airplane Woodstock- CSNY A Day in the Life- The Beatles Rainy Day Woman- Bob Dylan Born to be Wild- Steppenwolf Fish Cheer- Country Joe
  2. David Cardin from Rockwood, Ontario, Canada writes: 'Won't Get Fooled Again' by the Who. Iconic and ironic!
  3. Jim Slade from Sidney, Canada writes: #1's first choice of 'For What It's Worth' is dead on correct. It is THE song that defines the 60's. The rest of his choices would also make my list. (My wife has 'For What It's Worth' playing as I write this)
  4. Barbara Burtwistle from Nanaimo, Canada writes: "Stairway to Heaven" Led Zepplin!!
