One man dead, officer wounded in Edmonton shooting
Edmonton — An exchange of fire that killed a man and seriously wounded an officer occurred during an investigation into a gun complaint at a home in a quiet working-class neighbourhood, police say.
Staff Sergeant Gerry Gunn of the homicide division said three officers initially answered a call early Friday about a disturbance at a home in north Edmonton.
