Graduated in Economy by Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP), of São Paulo, Roger Agnelli made his career in the Bradesco Group, where he worked from 1981 until 2001. Between 1998 and 2000, he occupied the position of Executive Director of the Bradesco Bank; from March 2000 through July of 2001, he was Director-President of Bradespar S/A. Before assuming the current position in Vale do Rio Doce, in July of 2001, Roger Agnelli chaired the Administrative Council of the company presided over and carried out functions as a counselor in important Brazilian organizations, among them the São Paulo Power and Light Company and the Companhia Siderurgica Nacional.
