Black faces additional U.S. charges

U.S. prosecutors have changed their indictment against former newspaper tycoon Conrad Black, including additional charges of tax evasion, Lord Black's Canadian lawyer said Thursday. The revised indictment returned in U.S. District Court in Chicago is the third since the former media baron and four other Hollinger executives were indicted last year. It adds two new tax-related charges and requests that Lord Black forfeit a 26-carat diamond ring said to be worth $2.6-million.
