At Labatt, they miss the Belgians

On the second floor of a squat office building on Toronto's waterfront, the Brazilian revolution is taking root at one of Canada's mega-brewers. This is the nerve centre for Labatt Brewing Co. Ltd., and the man pulling the strings from his open-concept pod is Miguel Nuno da Mata Patrício — “Miguel” to everyone.
