Marc DeRocket from Port%252525252520Colborne%25252525252COnt, Canada writes: Good list, the only disagreement I have is # 126,Chris Higgins.I think Higgins will have a breakout sophmore year.He showed last year in the scond half as he got more playing time he gained more confidence and started to score goals. If that line of Koivu,Ryder and Higgins stay together they should light up the scoreboard.

Wes Newton from St. Catharines, Canada writes: Looking at this from a Leafs-centric point of view, Kyle Wellwood will almost certainly be among the Leagues top 200 scorers. Even if he doesn't play many even strength minutes with Mats Sundin a more promiment role on the power play will ensure he tops 65 pts. As Eric notes in the article even strength line combinations and power play configurations factor so heavily into the point production of individual players, particularly those falling into the potential 'break out' category, its very difficult to predict these things. The most important stat to consider in fantasy hockey is projected power play time as PP minutes provide the opportunity to accumulate, in genuine Jason Allison fashion, 2nd assists on PP goals.

Mark H from London, Canada writes: umm.. where is Kyle Wellwood on this list? if he stays healthy he will easily crack the top 200, even if he isn't on Sundin's line all year. glaring omission.

cam janssen from Victoria, Canada writes: OK, Leafs hounds, chill. Kyle Dullwood or Kale Wellworn, or whatever that mid-round stiff's name is, won't score enough to drag your sorry excuse for a hockey team out of last place in the division. You'll be lucky if Sundin gets 60 points this year. Enjoy your wet, cold, dark winters and Saturday nights watching your loser team getting hammered on...

Mark H from London, Canada writes: Dear Leaf Hater. The Leafs aren't 'my team'. The point is that if you are looking for a good low round pick in your fantasy pool then Wellwood should be a consideration ahead of many guys on this top 200 list, especially in the 150-200 range.

J H from Windsor, Canada writes: Well, every guy I drafted for my pool is listed, so I can't complain :) I have to agree that one of the best strategies for pools these days is to bring a depth chart with the most up-to-date line combinations you can get ahold of. For example, some might argue that Sykora's production will be bumped up 20 pts because he has been placed with Ales Hemsky on the 2nd unit - also he'll get quite a bit of PP time. However, you also have to consider the depth of the teams. With the Oilers, they seem to have one of the deepest offensively talented rosters in teh West. So the possibility of a darkhorse like Torres breaking out is very real. I'm just so damn glad that hockey is back tonight! :)
