Kyle Simpson from Canada writes: This could have very well been done with marketing aspects in mind. Taking nothing away from his play and presence on the ice, I think the hype surrounding Chara's size and physical dominance on the ice brings attention to him...and potentially the Bruins...who to say the least have been pretty quiet in recent years both on the performance scale, and on fan base. They're over their salary cap at the moment and have a lot of people to pay...break out the Bruin's/Chara merchandise...
