The WestJet whistle-blower

TORONTO AND CALGARY — On his four-acre spread in central Alberta, the man who blew the whistle on WestJet Airlines is convinced that not only did he do the right thing, he did the company a big favour. Melvin Crothers exited his WestJet job, left the airline industry and has yet to receive any thanks from Air Canada for exposing Calgary-based WestJet's 2003-2004 spying campaign.
