Vancouver — They've been born but how will they live? Twin girls joined at the head were born in Vancouver Wednesday, a medical marvel that only happens once for every 2.5 million births. That Krista and Tatiana even made into the world makes them special — 45 per cent of conjoined twins die in the womb and the majority of others die within the first 24 hours of life.
