Market's reaction will be ugly

Brace yourself, because this is going to be ugly. Starting Wednesday, the federal government's move against income trusts is likely to cause an extended period of turmoil for both the stock markets and the investment portfolios of everyone who owns trusts. Trusts are held by even the most mainstream mutual funds, so few investors are going to be spared. Trusts will survive — don't worry about that.
