Turning Tide from The Bay, Canada writes: Is this why after the Tsunami, of the 90 million $ donated by individuals across Canada, only 1.6 came from Alberta, and the highest per capita was from the Maritimes, where individual wealth is not as high. Is this also why the wealthy prefer a capitalist economic system and seem to oppose socialist values of community and sharing? Just generalizations and ideas, but it's interesting research.

    it implies that the more money you have, the less you are concerned about people.
    so if you have a huge amount. you live in a cave.? rubbish!
    It has to do with social interactions...not the need for people, because people are needed to provide the real wealthy with all their toys, and there are always lots of hanger-ons to provide the more intimate' social needs of the basic animal.
