Dozens of arrests in Montreal mob crackdown
Police in Montreal fanned out early Wednesday in a massive organized crime sweep, arresting dozens of people and laying hundreds of charges in what one expert says could mark one of the biggest blows to the Sicilian mafia in Canadian history.
Almost 70 people were rounded up and more than 80 warrants issued in the raids, which the RCMP said targeted “traditional Italian organized crime.
