Jimmy Crack Corn And I Don't Care from Willowdale, Canada writes: ...well, I wonder, should I check out the maps of our downtown streets and lanes, will there also be images of the homeless folks sleeping on the sidewalks? They, of course, should be included because they have become as much a part of Toronto and its streets as your local fire hydrant. I don't fear, however, because David Miller is really going to clean up this time!
  2. True North from Canada writes: This is a very cool site. A real life portrait of our city too. Very neat.
  3. Yury Kritchever from Scarborough, Canada writes: For the first, it is the Google-powered web site, so, please do not make mistakes here: essentially, these are just pictures, that have been added to what we have been enjoying for some time already! And for the second: while I wish good luck to the start-up, I am afraid it won't survive for a long because as long as it is not a 'live video', the picture is doomed from the moment it's been taken.
A nice toy ... for a moment ... I shall not visit it again, no need really ...
  4. Vern McPherson from Toronto, Canada writes: Even beautiful downtown Willowdale is ugly in the cold early Spring when the winter debris is still on the fround. Nice view of the local Plaza though eh #1 ?
  5. N J from Canada writes: Pretty good idea. It can be expanded to offer video of streets as if you were driving on these streets.
  6. Ruth A from Toronto, Canada writes: Excellent idea, especially since so few businesses bother to put up a visible number.

Jimmy Crack Corn And I Don't Care from Willowdale, Canada writes: Mr. Ivor Tossell, although I enjoy reading your articles, I wish you would refrain, when talking about Toronto, especially, to the word 'takes a stab'. Nowadays that phrase in Toronto is akin to saying 'they will take a SHOT at the problem'. Scary!!
It's hard enough for David Miller to get people from the 'Burbs to ride the TTC to downtown Toronto to do their Christmas shopping!!
