Harper's Quebec motion passes easily

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Stephen Harper has won a parliamentary vote on his motion recognizing the Quebeckers as a nation within Canada, but lost a cabinet minister in the process. The House of Commons voted 266-16 in favour of the motion Monday night, backed by a huge majority of MPs from all parties.
