TORONTO — There was an air of celebration yesterday when the Ontario government officially turned the page on what it means to be old."Today, we are giving people freedom," Labour Minister Steve Peters told a small gathering before he popped open a few bottles of sparkling grape juice to commemorate that, as of today, the province no longer has mandatory retirement.
