Absolute Software soars after deal with Dell

A deal to have its theft-recovery software installed on Dell Inc. notebook computers pushed shares of
Absolute Software Corp. up 25 per cent Tuesday.
The Vancouver-based firm is benefiting from Dell's efforts to look for new ways to distinguish its computers as the long-time advantages of its direct sales model continue to decline.
