COLLINGWOOD, ONT. Come February, many Ontarians start cursing winter. But for skiers and snowboarders — and for residents of Collingwood, the closest town to the province's largest downhill resort — recent snowstorms and chilly temperatures have been as welcome as the groundhog's proverbial shadow.
