Tories under attack over judges

OTTAWA — The Conservative government is facing accusations that it's trying to pack the country's courts with right-wing judges by manipulating the membership of the advisory committees that vet candidates for the bench. Liberal Leader Stéphane Dion led the attack in the Commons on Monday, laying the blame for the strategy squarely at the door of Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
