Do the math? Not our kids

Here's a simple idea to help Canada become more innovative, smart and prosperous. Teach math right. A no-brainer, you might think. After all, a grasp of math is fundamental to science, engineering and computer science -- the fields innovation comes from. But we are very bad at persuading kids to study math, and even worse at teaching basic math skills.
